Prior to becoming a licensed professional counselor, Angel has over 17 years’ experience serving a variety of populations as a lay counselor in non-profit ministries.
Her experience includes:

- Development and leadership in sexual abuse recovery groups
- Social and emotional skills groups for troubled kids in school
- Faith-based drug and alcohol residential counseling
- Specialized work with adoptive/foster families that nurture children from hard places
